Making art that attempts to record the traces of time and the ways in which communities and individuals through the society is something that fascinates me. Especially in crowded cities as a single unit, how our bodies and ideology move into different communities, being shaped by others and at the same time having small impacts on the whole.

I use photography and video to capture the physical movement of people in the city and through drawing and physical materials to capture these traces. In printing, I isolate and highlight one unit to show the relation of the its in a bigger environment. The endless process of my etching works also has the meaning of procedure of deepening and shaping the state of being.

At the same time, adding emotions about the loneliness and strong concerning into works is also one of my purposes, to give the audiences a resonance with themselves and provoke us to think about the conflict and integration between small collectives and the a bigger world.
