Unit 2

In this Unit, I mainly work in etching printing. My current work explores themes of social separation and group divides, in particular, these of abandonment and isolation. 

My observation of urban life inspire my artworks showing these underlying situations. I am still  interested in how small collectives are formed and may conflict with each other in urban contexts for example, the cultural divisions in working environments. On my series of work Crowds,us in this Unit,  I employ different materials and geometric shapes to situate figures and explore my narratives.

Here, the paper, materials and imagery come together in one plane layer but also remain separate to explore social divisions and boundaries.
